Edgar Plans (b. 1977) is a Spanish artist that lives in Gijón and works with raw, intuitive, and exceptionally playful imagery through which he channels the innocence and optimism of children. Utilizing their limitless ideas and ideals through doodle-like visuals, he takes on grown-up problems through a pure, naive, yet refreshing whimsical perspective.
"Within my work, being a dreamer is a main theme. An open, creative and imaginative mind. To be a person who pursues his dreams and fights for them. They dreams awake and always seek to change the world, improving it." - Edgar Plans

"My Little Martian is quite an important character in my work. I am passionate about space, science fiction and the world that surrounds the mystery of other inhabitants in the universe. I like that it appears in a large landscape. This is what the magnitude of space looks like. It is fun and elegant at the same time." - Edgar Plans
