Familiar objects used in unfamiliar ways
If you could dine with any creative icons, living or passed on, who would they be, and and why?
Rube Goldberg, Heath Robinson and Buster Keaton. Rube and Heath both invented the genre of chain reaction machines (100 years ago) so obviously I want to meet them. Buster Keaton, I just want advice on how to do bigger stunts without harming myself.
When you eventually retire as an innovator, what’s the legacy you want to have left behind?
Retire?! Why would I ever retire? Building machines is too much fun! When I die, I would like my legacy to be a contraption that can dig my own grave.
